A fascinating, late 19 century drawing and colourwash of a scene from a French institution. This piece illutrates the native enthusiasm for eating, no matter what. Framed in teak with brass cornersit would hang perfectly in a restaurant or Gentlemans surroundings.
The artist was born in 1874 in Trebours, France and he died in 1903. He exhibited at Salon de la Societe Nationale des Beaux Arts.
